BMW MALAYSIA PRESENTS THE BMW LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL UPDATE FOR THE BMW 218i GRAN COUPÉ.
Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “The new BMW Live Cockpit Professional further underlines our commitment towards digitalisation and individualisation across the BMW portfolio. As we continue to bring the future of mobility in Malaysia to life, innovation will remain a key focus at BMW for the years ahead. This is exemplified in our latest product update, and in the coming introductions of new models and features that will further transform the driving experience for our customers in Malaysia.”
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional featured in the New BMW 218i Gran Coupé now consists of a 10.25-inch instrument display cluster (previously 5.1-inch) and a 10.25-inch central information display (previously 8.8-inch), both designed with a new display concept that aims to provide a fast, timely overview of relevant information. Individualisation is now easier than ever, with a wider breadth of configuration options to personalise and enhance the driving experience.
Focused and fully-configurable display.
The new BMW Live Cockpit Professional takes a “content-first” approach in displaying information, with a minimalistic and precise outlook. Fuel level, speed, rpm and engine temperature are now presented in tube rings and have been arranged to free up more space in the centre for navigation display and other functions.
Tailoring the driving experience is a list of functions and configurable widgets, which include sports scoreboards, driving data, fuel consumption and efficiency, G-force meter, media, and radio.
Uniform Driving Experience modes.
Reduced colour and graphical clutter also contribute to a more consistent feel and perceptual experience on the road. Depending on the selected Driving Experience mode (Sport, Comfort, Eco-Pro), a uniform colour and look will be displayed across the information display cluster and central information display.
Intelligent Personal Assistant.
For convenient and complete control over vehicle settings, navigation and entertainment systems, the voice-activated BMW Intelligent Personal Assistance can be brought to life with a “Hey BMW!” or an individual personalised activation word.
Dynamic Financial Programme.
With the Balloon Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW 218i Gran Coupé can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM 2,268 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).
Complete premium ownership experience.

- BMW 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme
