BMW Malaysia presents new M Sport variant for the locally-assembled BMW X7.
The highly coveted premium Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) now arrives with the dynamic styling of the M Sport package, featuring iconic M design characteristics for both the exterior and interior specifications.
Kuala Lumpur, 24th October 2023 – BMW Malaysia today introduced the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport, complementing the Pure Excellence variant that was unveiled earlier this year. The powerfully luxurious SAV will also roll-out from the BMW Assembly Plant in Kulim, adding to the premium automaker’s extensive line-up of premium vehicles that are assembled in Malaysia.
The latest variant will feature notable sports-oriented additions, including a new M Specific front and rear design thanks to the M Aerodynamics Package, along with door entry sills that feature the iconic M inscription. New visual highlights on the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport consist of the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille that is beautifully illuminated by LED fibre optics for a strong visual aura, along with new 22-inch M Sport light alloy wheels in double spoke 913 M bicolour with mixed tyres.
Inside, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport features a new 'Fineline Black’ fine wood trim with high-gloss metal effect, the M leather steering wheel as well as BMW Individual extended Merino leather upholstery in Black or Tartufo. In terms of driving assistance, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will also arrive with the Driving Assistant Professional including Distance Control with Stop & Go function along with the Steering and Lane Control Assistants – enabling Level 2 Autonomous Driving capabilities and offering enhanced comfort as well as safety with a relaxed driving experience.
The New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport with continue to be powered by a power in-line six mild hybrid engine, capable of a 250 km/h top speed, delivering 380hp / 280kW and 540 Nm of torque. This allows the SAV to achieve the century sprint in just 5.8 seconds. Paired with the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system and an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the SAV also boasts the mild-hybrid technology with a 48-Volt starter generator for even better efficiency and dynamics.
In addition to the existing Mineral White Metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic colour offerings for the BMW X7, the variant-exclusive M Brooklyn Grey Metallic will also be made available for the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport.

With the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport can be owned with monthly instalment plans starting from RM8,322.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a seven-year tenure).
