A top athlete that offers pure driving pleasure: The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features dynamic power delivery and the characteristic throaty M engine sound. Highly efficient technologies such as double VANOS, Valvetronic, high precision injection and a TwinScroll turbocharger provide excellent output.
Adaptive M suspension.
With the adaptive M chassis with variable shock absorber adjustment, the characteristics of the chassis can be individually adjusted – from comfortable to particularly sporty with pronounced agile handling. With Driving Experience Control, you can adapt the electronically controlled chassis quickly and easily to the road conditions and driving situation.
Front design.
Compact proportions and clear contours define the characteristic design of the BMW M2 Coupé. In the style of the BMW 2002, the headlights are implemented as individual units.
M Carbon roof.
As part of the intelligent lightweight construction concept, the M Carbon roof significantly helps to reduce the vehicle's weight. Thanks to its carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) design, it is around 6 kg lighter than a comparable roof made of steel. This shifts the vehicle’s centre of gravity downwards and increases driving dynamics.*
Rear design.
The muscular wheel housings and the typical M wheel arches emphasise the broad and powerful stance of the BMW 2 Coupé on the road, conveying its power and athleticism impressively to the outside. The rear lights reveal a completely new interpretation of the characteristic L-shape as they spread pulsatingly to the sides.
M steering wheel.
With the M leather steering wheel, you can enjoy a sporty, direct steering feel and conveniently retrieve the preset M Drive configurations at the touch of a button.
BMW Curved Display.
The one-piece, fully digital BMW Curved Display provides information on your BMW over a large area and clearly arranged. It combines a 12.3” instrument display with a touch-capable 14.9” Control Display. Operation is ergonomically optimised and intuitive. The curved, almost free-floating design looks both sophisticated and modern.

A top athlete conveying pure driving pleasure: The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound. With Double-VANOS, Valvetronic, High-Precision Injection and a TwinScroll turbocharger, it provides excellent output.
Steptronic Sport transmission.
The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. Whether automatic or manual using gearshift paddles or gear lever – for comfortable coasting or incredibly dynamic driving. In SPORT PLUS mode and with the selector lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the maximum performance.
Adaptive M suspension and variable sport steering.
The Adaptive M suspension can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions. You can also adjust the suspension characteristics via the Driving Experience Control to enable your preferred driving style at the time – from comfortable to extremely athletic with markedly agile handling. The variable sport steering with Servotronic creates a direct and agile steering response and ensures that less physical effort is required to turn the wheel. It reacts to the angle of the steering wheel with varying steering ratios. This improves handling when driving more dynamically and reduces the effort needed to steer when parking and turning.
Front design.
At the front, the powerdome on the bonnet, the expressive kidney grille and the M-specific front apron with the clearly contoured and triangular air inlets underline the dynamics of the BMW M240i Coupé and the BMW M240i xDrive Coupé.
Side view.
The agile three-box design of the BMW M240i Coupé and the BMW M240i xDrive Coupé with long, extended bonnet, short overhangs and rear-set passenger compartment creates a sporty coupé silhouette.
Rear design.
Setting sporty accents at the rear of the BMW M240i Coupé and the BMW M240i xDrive Coupé are the M-specific rear apron and the rear spoiler in body colour supplied as a standard feature. Free-form exhaust pipe finishers in Cerium Grey round off the athletic appearance.
M Sport seats.
The multi-adjustable M Sport seats with bucket seat character and partly integrated headrest provide excellent lateral support for you and your front passenger. In addition, the backrest width can be individually adjusted. Their special design with black M logo highlights the vehicle's athletic capabilities.
M Leather steering wheel.
The M Leather steering wheel including multifunction buttons, an M badge and an integrated driver-side airbag is featured in three-spoke design. With a steering wheel rim in leather 'Walknappa' Black with black stitching and contoured thumb rests, it provides a direct, athletic steering experience.
M illuminated interior trim.
The illuminated M interior trim uniquely showcases the M colours for an interior that is bound to catch anyone’s eye. The door trim panels, illuminated in M colours, emphasise the exclusive, sporty character of the vehicle. The fade effect highlights the dynamics for which the strongest letters in the world are renowned.
