BMW Malaysia Reprises Its Role as Official Automotive Partner for the Maybank Championship 2024.
Premium automaker brings Sheer Electric Driving Pleasure to the golf course once again with its fully-electric BMW i fleet, delivering seamless mobility and refined elegance to elevate the prestige of the world class tournament.
Kuala Lumpur, 22nd October 2024 – BMW Malaysia announced its return as the Official E-Mobility Partner for the Maybank Championship 2024, reaffirming its commitment to supporting world-class sporting events while championing Responsible and Sustainable mobility. Sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), the event reflects Maybank's commitment to advancing women’s sports by bringing together remarkable athletes and motivating them to reach new heights.

BMW Malaysia will showcase its commitment to Electrified Mobility by providing an extraordinary fleet of 60 premium BMW i electric vehicles, consisting of the BMW iX, BMW i5 and BMW i7. This impressive lineup reflects the brand’s dedication to combining luxury with eco-conscious innovation. These vehicles will serve as the official transportation for the tournament, ensuring seamless and comfortable mobility for all participating sportswomen, officials, and VVIPs throughout the event at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
The much-anticipated Maybank Championship 2024 will take place from 24th to 27th October 2024, bringing together 78 of the world's top female golfers. Among the elite athletes set to compete for the prestigious title and a prize purse of USD 3 million are World Champions such as Celine Boutier, Ayako Furue, Jin Young Ko, Jeeno Thitikul, Brooke Henderson, and Hannah Green. This showcase of talent promises an exciting and competitive tournament, featuring some of the finest names in women’s golf.
